Clan Kringle is the Foundation for Scottish Athletics’ annual charity Highland Game and festive Christmas party—an event created to give back to the community that supports us all year long.
This year, F4SA is proud to support Kilted Patriot — kiltedpatriot.com — a charitable organization founded in memory of Joel Sim. Joel was a beloved figure in the world of heavy athletics, and Kilted Patriot honors his legacy by supporting Highland Games and athletes across the country. They were instrumental in helping F4SA host the 2024 Masters World Championship, and we are deeply grateful for their support.
The goal of this year’s Clan Kringle is to raise funds for Kilted Patriot so they can continue empowering and uplifting the heavy athletics community that Joel so passionately built.
Joel’s favorite quote is “The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb.” by Albert Jack and Messianic Rabbi Richard Pustelniak. Honesty, trust, respect, and loyalty were what mattered to Joel, and if youractions reflected these qualities, you had a fierce friend who would do anything for you. This thought process was also how he felt about “his athletes”. He wanted nothing but the best for them. This is the motivation and purpose of Kilted Patriot, to take care of the community that he loved.
